Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Local Work Group Meeting

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is hosting the annual Local Work Group (LWG) meeting from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026. The meeting will be held in person at the Teton County University of Wyoming Extension office at 255 West Deloney. The purpose of the annual meeting is to provide local agricultural producers and natural resources stakeholders with information about NRCS programing and funding opportunities, solicit feedback from you about NRCS programs, and rank local funding priorities. You may be aware of unique issues or challenges in our area. This is your chance to highlight such issues that are important to Teton County, Wyoming.

The NRCS meeting agenda items include:

  • Who is NRCS and what do they do?

  • Current local and state natural resource priorities

  • Prioritization and ranking of local resource concerns.

  • Teton Conservation District agricultural support - grants and conservation planning.
