Teton Conservation District’s Water Resource Specialist Carlin Girard and Natural Resource Technician Elyce Gosselin returned from sampling Fish Creek’s water last week to report a shocking finding – the silver content in the creek has increased.

How is water quality in Flat Creek trending?

Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality classified the aquatic health of Flat Creek as impaired in 1996, due to runoff from Jackson streets. Since then, Teton Conservation District, the Town of Jackson, and partners have worked to reduce pollutants that enter Flat Creek.
